Regaining Quality of Life Our practice

Following the dissolution of the Pain Medicine Group Practice (BAG) in Worms, the Worms Regional Pain Center has been operating under the umbrella of the German Society for Pain Medicine (DGS) and under the management of Serbaz Al Mohammad since October 1, 2013.

In our modern practice, we offer a wide range of treatments that not only relieve symptoms but also identify and address the underlying causes of pain. We place particular emphasis on an individual and holistic approach to every patient.

As a DMKG-certified headache specialist, I treat patients with chronic facial pain, migraines, and various headache disorders—regardless of their insurance status (self-pay, private, or statutory).

Through close collaboration and continuous training as a partner of the Worms Health Network (Woge), and in cooperation with regional and national colleagues, we provide you with up-to-date medical expertise.

Therapy A Wide Range of Treatment Options for Your Health

Our practice offers various therapies tailored to your individual needs – ranging from medication-based treatments to alternative and rehabilitative approaches.

Here are some of the most common therapeutic approaches:

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy plays a key role in diagnosing and treating chronic pain, especially musculoskeletal symptoms. This is often followed by specific exercise programs and physiotherapy sessions.

Laser therapy

Laser therapy provides effective, non-invasive pain relief with minimal side effects, helping you return quickly to everyday activities.

Basic Psychosomatic Care and Pain Education

Psychosomatic primary care offers you the opportunity to work through stressful life events through self-reflection and to process and integrate them into your life through targeted interventions. In addition, pain education provides an example of how the biopsychosocial model is applied to pain perception.

Ultrasound-Guided Nerve Blocks

Peripheral nerves can be visualized in detail using ultrasound and anaesthetized under visual control. In addition, the precise imaging of the nerves enables more accurate placement of anesthetics, which leads to more effective pain relief. Targeted anaesthesia can also minimize side effects and reduce the risk of complications. This reduces the burden on the body from other medications, e.g. anaesthetics.

Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy refers to several alternative medical procedures that use ozone gas. Its antimicrobial and disinfecting properties are scientifically proven. In addition, ozone therapy is believed to improve oxygen supply to cells and strengthen the immune system.

Drug Therapy

Medication plays a key role in the treatment of chronic pain, especially in severe cases, and often forms the foundation for subsequent therapeutic steps.

Ear Acupuncture

Ear acupuncture is a form of acupuncture used for pain, allergies, and psychological issues—and can also support smoking cessation or weight loss.
It is based on the principle that the entire body is reflected in the ear, and stimulating specific points can positively influence related conditions. By restoring the flow of energy and promoting the body’s self-healing powers, ear acupuncture represents a holistic approach to wellness.

Neural Therapy

Neural therapy can treat both acute and chronic pain. Through targeted injections, blockages can be released and energy flow restored. This not only relieves pain but also supports the immune system and enhances self-healing.

Opiate Rotation or Withdrawal

Switching from one opiate to another can reduce the overall dose without increasing pain, helping to minimize side effects and improve quality of life.
Opiate withdrawal is a complex process with both physical and psychological aspects – we are here to support you throughout the process.
